I caught a streak of white race across the yard in my peripheral vision -- it was the beautiful feral cat we see from time to time. Here's a photo from the closest known visit he ever paid me. I rushed outside with some Dungeness crab meat for him but he ran away, so I left it out on the deck. Maybe he'll come back.

  1. Be careful of Feral cats. They can be very wild. However that pretty white cat looks like he belongs to someone. He isnt straggly enough. Cute. Smiling, Zanelle

  2. Wow, what a beautiful photo of an amazing cat! And this comes from someone who has no appreciation for them. (I'd rather have a Bichon - :) Love, Ricky B

  3. If you're handing out Dungeness crab meat, I guarantee you the cat will come back.

  4. I bet he lives close by...looks awfully put together to be a feral cat; just might be shy. He's so clean and looks well fed. Usually feral cats are sort of "moth-eaten" looking.

See you soon...do you hand crab out to everyone on your deck?
