Progress Report
Tonight I put the last strokes on the canvas and added my initials in the corner. A large painting of the full moon rising while the sun was setting, based on the photos in the previous post, is DONE!! It will be in my show that goes up on Monday evening. A crude collage of tree shapes and a sketch I "doodled" over on Picnik helped me get started on the 24" x 36" inch canvas. Here is a view from ten days ago. Tomorrow I'll shoot the moon!

Wow, it is a beautiful painting and big! I can really feel the air and the light is wonderful. Im sure you will have a fun show and it is a joy to share work like this. Thank you from afar. Good job.
